Password Security on virusjp
Your password is the first line of defense for your virusjp account. We require passwords to be at least eight characters long and to include a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. When you type your password into the login field, it is sent over an encrypted connection (SSL/TLS) and is never stored as plain text on our servers.
Never reuse your virusjp password across multiple websites. If another site suffers a data breach and your password leaks there, an attacker could use it to compromise your virusjp account. We recommend using a password manager—such as Bitwarden, 1Password, or your browser's built-in vault—to generate and store unique passwords for each service.
Changing Your virusjp Password
Update your virusjp password periodically, especially if you suspect any compromise or after a long period of inactivity. Log into your account, go to Settings > Security, and select "Change Password." You will be asked to enter your current password, then your new one. Confirm the change, and your virusjp session will refresh with the new credentials.
If you forget your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. We will send a reset link to your registered email address. Click the link, set a new password, and return to login. Never share this reset link; it expires after one hour for security.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on virusjp
We offer two-factor authentication to add a second security layer to your virusjp account. After entering your password correctly, you must provide a second form of verification—either a code from an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy) or a code sent via SMS to your registered phone number.
Enabling 2FA on virusjp is optional but recommended, especially if you place large markets on Liga 1, Piala AFF, or Champions League, or if you hold a high balance. To enable it, go to Settings > Security > Two-Factor Authentication, select your preferred method (app or SMS), and follow the on-screen prompts. Your virusjp account will ask for the second factor each time you log in or perform sensitive actions such as changing your password or withdrawing funds.
Backup codes for virusjp 2FA
When you enable two-factor authentication, virusjp generates backup codes. Store them in a secure location (password manager, safe). If you lose access to your authenticator app or phone, these codes let you regain access to your account.
Session Management and Logout on virusjp
Your virusjp session remains active for a set period of inactivity (typically subject to verification). After that time, you are automatically logged out for security. If you access virusjp from a shared device—such as a library computer or a friend's phone—always log out when finished. Do not check the "Remember me" box on public computers.
You can also view all active sessions tied to your virusjp account in Settings > Security > Active Sessions. This list shows the devices and locations where you are currently logged in. If you see an unfamiliar session (e.g., a login from Medan when you are in Jakarta), click "Sign out" next to that session to terminate it immediately.
Recognizing Phishing Attempts
Phishing emails pretend to be from virusjp but direct you to a fake login page designed to steal your credentials. Legitimate virusjp emails never ask you to click a link and log in. Instead, they direct you to check your account settings directly by opening the app or navigating to virusjp.app in your browser.
If you receive an email claiming urgent action is needed on your virusjp account—such as "Verify your payment method" or "Confirm your identity"—do not click any links. Instead, open a new browser tab, go directly to virusjp.app, and log in normally. Then check your account settings. If there is a real issue, virusjp will notify you through your account dashboard.
Securing Your Payment Methods on virusjp
When you link DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, or a bank account to virusjp, we use OAuth tokens and API encryption to connect your accounts. Your actual local payment or online payment password is never stored on virusjp servers. Instead, we receive a secure token that lets us initiate deposits and withdrawals on your behalf.
For bank virtual accounts (e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment), we assign you a unique account number. Deposits to that number bypass our servers—they go directly to our bank partner, which then credits your virusjp balance. This design limits the attack surface.
- Never share your virusjp login credentials with anyone, including virusjp staff. Our team will never ask for your password.
- Check the URL in your browser. It should be virusjp.app (or a secure subdomain). Do not log into virusjp from links in emails or third-party sites.
- Use the virusjp app when possible. Mobile apps are harder to spoof than web browsers. Download the app directly from your device's official app store.
- Review your virusjp transaction history regularly. Unauthorized deposits or withdrawals should be reported to our support team immediately.
- Disconnect unused payment methods. If you no longer use a particular e-wallet or mobile banking account, remove it from your virusjp profile.
"Account security requires vigilance from both our platform and our users. On virusjp, we handle the technical side; you protect your credentials."
What to Do If Your virusjp Account Is Compromised
If you notice unauthorized activity on your virusjp account—such as markets placed without your action or unexpected withdrawals—act immediately. Log out from all sessions (Settings > Security > Active Sessions), change your password, and enable two-factor authentication if you haven't already.
Then contact our support team via email or in-app chat. Provide details about the unauthorized activity: when it occurred, which markets or withdrawals were affected, and what device or location appeared in your session logs. Our virusjp team will investigate, reverse fraudulent transactions if confirmed, and help secure your account.
Reporting Suspicious Activity
Our support team is available in English and Indonesian. Include your virusjp account email, the date and time of the suspicious activity, and any screenshots. We prioritize security incidents and typically respond within a few hours during business days. Do not delay reporting; the sooner we know, the sooner we can act.
Security for Users Across Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, and Medan
Our security protocols apply uniformly to all virusjp users regardless of location. However, internet infrastructure varies by region, which can affect connection speed and latency:
- Jakarta: High-speed connections are standard. Use virusjp over public WiFi only if you enable a VPN.
- Surabaya and Bandung: Most users have reliable broadband. Mobile networks are generally secure for virusjp if you use cellular data.
- Medan: Connection speeds vary. Avoid using virusjp over unsecured public WiFi at cafés or airports. Use your mobile hotspot instead, or wait until you're on a home network.
Regardless of location, always use a secure network (home WiFi with a strong password, or your mobile cellular connection) when accessing virusjp, especially for sensitive actions like withdrawals or updating payment methods.
Account Limits and Deposit/Withdrawal Caps on virusjp
Your virusjp account has default deposit and withdrawal limits based on your verification level. These limits protect against fraud and money-laundering risk. Once you pass full KYC verification (identity and address checks), we may raise your limits.
Request a limit increase by contacting our support team with proof of identity and address. We review requests within one to two business days. Higher limits come with additional security checks to ensure your account remains protected.
